Personal Assistant to the Principal

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to the Principal to join our Administration team. This pivotal role provides high-level support to the Principal ensuring the smooth and effective running of the College’s executive office.

You'll be able to:

  • Provide professional and confidential administrative support to the Principal, including calendar management, correspondence, meeting preparation and follow-up.

  • Liaise on behalf of the Principal with staff, families, and external stakeholders.

  • Draft executive-level communications and maintain a high standard of discretion.

  • Support College operations through advanced use of Microsoft Office and administration systems.

  • Coordinate special projects, events, and co-curricular programs as required.

Do you have:

  • A Diploma in Administration or Business (or equivalent) comprising of two years of study and/or relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience in a comparable role.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-level administration with professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the College community.

  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.

  • Willingness to lead and support school activities/events, attend meetings and undertake training.

  • Co-design learning opportunities with students to support futures endeavours.

  • Support staff and students through the creation of Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs), differentiated learning activities and relevant professional learning opportunities.
  • Lead a team of Disability Support Officers (DSOs) and maintain a high level of visability and support for teaching staff in all learning areas.

Work, Health & Safety (WHS) Risk & Compliance Officer

ROLE DETAILS

We are seeking a proactive and experienced WHS Risk & Compliance Officer to lead and support our commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all students, employees, contractors, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both strategically and hands-on - ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong safety culture across our college.

You’ll be able to:

  • Coordinate and implement our College’s Work Health and Safety policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Support our staff to meet legislative and organisational WHS obligations.
  • Conduct and facilitate incident investigations and safety audits.
  • Deliver WHS inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.
  • Monitor and report on WHS performance, trends, and compliance.
  • Promote consultation and communication on safety matters across all levels of the College.
  • Ensure all safety documentation and reporting is accurate and up to date.

Do you have?

  • A tertiary WHS qualification (and/or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated high-level specialist knowledge and experience with WHS, RTW, Risk and Compliance legislation and practice.
  • Proven experience in a WHS coordination or advisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to influence and engage staff at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
