Margaret More Centre

In the Margaret More Centre, a small group of students with intellectual disabilities benefit from a personalised Secondary curriculum within the inclusive setting of the College.

The program offers students opportunities to develop skills for:

  •     Independent living
  •     Transition from school to work
  •     Leisure in the wider community

The Margaret More Centre specialises in supporting the education of students with extensive learning needs such as intellectual disabilities, under the guidance of the Margaret More Centre & Intervention Leader.

Students are enrolled as per the College enrolment process and participate in all aspects of College life including homeroom, camps, excursions and a combination of modified mainstream and specialised Centre subjects as per their Personalised Plan for Learning (PPL).

Work experience and post school transition are a significant focus of the senior years. Please refer to the Margaret More Centre Booklet for further information.

We believe education is at the heart of a life well lived. It is a philosophy we instil in our students and one which underpins our College maxim.
