Year 7 to 9

Teaching & Learning

The Australian Curriculum for Years 7- 9 provides students with a broad and balanced education that builds strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, critical thinking and personal development. Across Years 7- 9, learning becomes deeper and independent, encouraging students to explore their interests, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, and prepare for success in senior schooling and beyond.

In Year 9 students have more agency over their learning, with some more information about the subject selection process found below. This will also be discussed on a parent, student, teacher basis during our JET, SET evenings in Term 3 of each year.
