Policies for a Safe Learning Community

"Thomas More College believes that the Wellbeing of each individual student is central to educating the whole person in pursuing personal excellence. A mentally fit student is more likely to learn. Each individual is created in the image of God, as such Thomas More College staff treat each student gently, justly and with dignity."

Through the use of Restorative Justice practices students are encouraged to be reflective and discuss with members of the community how they can best be supported to demonstrate growth.

Catholic Education South Australia know that the safety and wellbeing of your child is your highest priority and we are committed to ensuring our schools are safe places for all.

Every child has the right to be safe.

Schools are mandated child safe environments with legal, policy and procedural requirements for staff and volunteers.

The South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS) requires its schools to implement child safety policies and practices, including child safety education.

For further information, please visit Safe Environments for All on the Catholic Education South Australia website.

We believe education is at the heart of a life well lived. It is a philosophy we instil in our students and one which underpins our College maxim.
