Year 12 Italian is a continuation of Year 11 Italian and will continue building upon the language through the same three prescribed themes: 

• The Individual 
• The Italian-speaking Communities 
• The Changing World. 

The following grammatical concepts will continue to be applied: nouns, past and present tenses, conditional/future tenses, possessives, modal verbs as well as formal/informal tones.  

Assessment Type 1: Folio (50%)  

• 2x Text Production  
• Interaction (conversation in language)  
• Text Analysis 

Assessment Type 3: In-depth Study (20%)  

• Oral Presentation  
• Creative Written Response  
• Reflection in English  

Assessment Type 3: External Assessment (30%) 

• Oral Examination in Language (10%)  
• Written Exam (20%)
