Additional CostsThe cost of this Certificate - delivered at Thomas More College is $915. The TMC VET Subsidy may apply. Students who are interested should consult with the Pathways Office to determine their own entitlement. Learning Concepts

Students develop coaching knowledge and practical skills in athlete development, training and competition preparation, sport safety, leadership, and community sport participation. The course focuses on planning, delivering, and evaluating coaching activities in real sporting environments. 

 

Assessment is competency-based and includes practical coaching sessions, projects, observations, workplace-based tasks, and portfolio evidence. Students demonstrate their ability to apply coaching skills and industry knowledge in authentic sport and recreation settings.
