Learning Concepts

Design, creation, and evaluation of a final solution related to a design brief. Including skill development and/or testing of fabrics or equipment. 

Possible topics: 

  • Basic garment construction (add all highlighted) 
  • Accessories 
  • Fibres and fabrics sustainability 
  • Fast fashion and trends analysis 
  • Fashion and identity 
  • Designer case studies 
  • Upcycling projects 
  • Fashion through time 

Assessment Type 1: Specialised Skills Tasks (40%)

Assessment Type 2: Design Process and Production Task (60%)
