Learning Concepts
Introduction to the study of wildlife. Students explore animal biology, behaviour, ecosystems, and conservation with a particular emphasis on Australian native species. Learning experiences include practical investigations, data collection, and observational studies that build both science inquiry skills and mathematical skills such as measurement, graphing, analysing patterns, and interpreting ecological data.
Students reflect on personal growth, application ofy scientific understanding to real-world contexts, and engage with community or industry perspectives. (e.g.,A focus on wildlife carers, conservation organisations, or animal services)
